Golf Course Construction and Maintenance

Birkdale specializes in the construction, design, maintenance and consultancy for golf courses.  The company’s experience includes some of the leading golf courses in the world such as The Hong Kong Golf Club and Fancourt Country Club in South Africa.

Unique to the industry, Birkdale’s consultancy services include an extensive turf management training program for staff and management to ensure the ongoing maintenance of pristine playing surfaces.  The training program includes providing clients with a customized course rating system that allows the facility to graphically and numerically determine its current condition. Consulting services can be tailored to suit a range of budgets with the long term objective being that clients develop the skills and knowledge to maintain their own sports surfaces to an optimum level.

Birkdale specialize in the construction and reconstruction, management and maintenance of high quality sports field surfaces including football pitches, rugby pitches, cricket squares (both natural and synthetic), tennis courts and lawn bowls greens.

Design, construction and maintenance packages are tailored for our clients.  Laser grading technology is used to provide a level playing surface.
